Three fast chargers at a sunny car park station

Installing AC and DC chargers

We connect you with a partner installer for your project.

We put you in touch with a partner installer for your charging project. You deal directly with them for the survey, the quote and the work. ChargeTeam also handles commissioning and general electrical work around charge points: switchboards, main LV panels, connections, protection devices, car park lighting.

Quote and work agreed directly with the partner installer.

Safety comes before any work

If there is smoke, sparks, water or damaged equipment, stop using it, keep people away and call the emergency services if there is immediate danger. Do not open the charger and do not repeatedly reset a protective device.

A referral, and one point of contact for the work

Describe your site and your needs. We review the information to direct you to a suitable partner, based on their area and availability. The installer then provides their survey and quote directly to you.

  • ChargeTeam collects your request and looks for a suitable partner.
  • The installer confirms feasibility, equipment, scope, price and schedule.
  • You agree the work, its handover and the warranties directly with them.

Useful information to point you in the right direction

Specify the location, type of site, intended use and number of parking bays. A home charger, a company car park and a DC rapid charging station require different skills and preparation.

  • Address and type of site: home, business, multi-unit residential building or site open to the public.
  • Number of vehicles, usual parking duration and number of charging points required.
  • Existing equipment, access constraints and preferred timeframe.

General electrical work around your charge points

ChargeTeam also handles the electrical work around your charge points, with certified technicians from the network, on quotation.

  • Switchboards and main LV panels: checks, upgrades, replacement of devices.
  • Charge point connections and protection: breakers, RCDs, surge protection.
  • Car park lighting and small electrical works around the charging bays.

After installation, organise the follow-up of your chargers

For chargers that are already installed and connected, ChargeTeam can arrange commissioning, maintenance or repair. These services are covered by a request and scope separate from the installer’s work.

Frequently asked questions

Does ChargeTeam carry out installation work?

For installation, ChargeTeam puts you in touch with a partner. The survey, quote, ordering of the work and handover are handled directly with that installer.

Who prepares the quote and sets the price of the work?

The partner installer prepares their proposal based on the equipment and the site. ChargeTeam’s maintenance or repair price list is not a fixed installation package.

Can I be referred without having chosen my charger?

Yes. Describe your intended use, the site and any known constraints. The partner confirms the choice of equipment and any necessary surveys with you.

Does the request guarantee a partner or a time slot?

No. The referral depends on the project, the area and availability. The partner confirms the terms and schedule of the work with you directly.

Prepare your request

  • AC or DC, if the requirement is already defined.
